this apartment is great!! It made our time so enjoyable. There is just no comparison to a cold hotel room. Coming at night after a long day was like coming "home". You really have anticipated every need. We visited many of Rome's amazing sites, but have many more to visit when we return and for sure we will call Dolceroma as our first choice.

Of course ST Peter's is breathtaking, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum beyond immagination and Rome itself beyond comparison. But nothing
compares to the care and kindness you have shwun us during our stay in
your worm and welcoming home away from home. The advice, welcoming
groceries and directions were fabulous, but the way you looked after both
of us when we were so ill, will live with us forever. Nothing will ever be
as special as the medicine you obtained from the doctor and your daily
calls to ensure we were both still alive. Thank you, thank you, thank
you!!! I have only appreciation and gratitude for your kindness..

We enjoyed our stay in Rome tremendously! The apartment was perfect for the 4 of us, and the location could not have been better. We loved all the personal touches such as the two times we had the opportunity to sit and talk with you - you never semmed to be in a hurry or bothered by so many questions. Thank you for your patience and willingness to share the many joy of this city and the easy ways to navigate through it! ........
We saw many of the gems in Rome, but not all.
We enjoyed a Fri. evening stroll throught Trastevere, a Sat. afternoon walk from Piazza del popolo to Piazza Venezia, picking up sandwiches at the deli down the street, tryng out the subway and bus 117 and seeing the many sights that are walking distance from the apartment:Colosseum, The Forum, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Church of San Giovanni (beautiful)

where do we begin? My husband found your lovely apartment in the internet. And wow what a place!!!! We loved it there. We felt right at home and your decorating is to die for!!! I loved the A/C on the hot nights.
Now for Rome...well I am not sure I will ever lay my eyes on anything as beautiful again! What great history and astounding sites. I was and always will be in love with this city and your apartment.
"When in Rome..do as the Romans...." I would never stay in a hotel knowing I could rent samething as homey as this apt!

Thanks for a very comfortable stay in your cozy apartment. Rome was even more beautiful than I could remember from 13 years ago. There is much to see that we have to come back to finish all activities and cultural monuments you have.
We even had no time to shop around and my feet have never hurt so much as they did these days because of our all day walk. It’s very nice and quite in your apartment so we also slept like roses.

Thanks for your suggestions: San Clemente church, walked around the Colosseum several times, enjoyed the Vatican Museum amazing art treasures. You gave us some great ideas about “tromp l’oeil”.

It’s hard to describe our experience in Rome in just a couple of words. We’ll give it try though…
Listening to hour friendly host’s advice helped us make an effective use of our couple of days here. Nevertheless, Rome is well set up for walking, as almost everything is within walking distance. Having a day’s metro-bus pass helped us reach places like The Vatican or Piazza del Popolo, otherwise quite far.
In fact it was hard to walk for more than a few minutes without seeing some ancient ruin, a museum or a beautiful church. What more can we expect from these days, other than a charming city, full of art and history, while making use of a comfortable and well placed accommodation!!!

Beautiful apartment and ideally situated. It took a couple of days to get to grips with transport and have found crossing the roads here like dicing with death-literally!
Had great time, saw the Pope, (not on purpose) wow! Found the food great and the wine fantastic. Found having the phone a great idea and although we didn’t use it much it was comforting to know it was there if we got into trouble.
Would recommend audio guides (headphones ect) on tours as it is much nicer to wander at your own leisure than push through crowds with guide who may linger in one spot for too long and not visit all areas you might like to see.

You certainly can’t judge a book by its cover! Such a beautiful residence with great help has made for a fantastic time in Rome for my wife and I and our 3 children. Well located here in San Giovanni made it very easy for us to bus it everywhere. Thanks a lot to Mrs. Bianchi for setting the place up so wonderfully and with so much tourist info it made it very easy.
We loved our time here and will certainly be passing on our compliments.

two extraordinary kind and considerate people- the two of you. You made
us feel at home immediately in this beautiful 18th century apartment
with its flowers in the balcony, cotton lace curtains, high, varnished
wooden ceiling, everything refinished with artistry and care by our
hostess herself; not to forget the hand painted table…
